Nature Math, Level 6

by Eric Gonzalez-Payne

Grade 6Ages 11 to 12·Mathematics·Interactive

This level works differently from the ones below it and you should know that before you start.

Pre-K through Level 5 are a complete path. Level 6 is a support layer. It assumes a student is already meeting grade six topics somewhere else, at school or in another curriculum, and it offers a hands on way through the ones that are usually taught abstractly.

That is a deliberate limit rather than an unfinished job. A full grade six course written to this standard would be its own project.

What is here is a weekly guide with the same family first voice as every other level, built for a student who has hit something that will not go in. Ratios, rates and negative numbers are the usual candidates.

If you want a gentler entry point, there is a companion start page in the same folder, linked from the navigation at the top of this guide.
