Nature Math, Level 3

Thirteen pages, and the level where reasoning language gets pushed hardest.

Grade three is old enough to say why, and this level keeps asking. Every page has a say and ask section that gives you the question to put to a child once they have the answer, which is where the actual learning happens and which most maths material leaves out entirely.

Place value goes further here. Larger numbers, built physically, then compared and rounded. Movement is used throughout, so a number line becomes a distance walked rather than a drawing.

There is also a projects section, which is where a page becomes a week. Take one if you have time and skip them if you do not. Nothing later depends on having done them.

The filters at the top let you find a page by what you need rather than by scrolling, which matters once a level has thirteen of them.
