Not documenting a plant. Writing the standard by which plants get documented.

This is a step up in abstraction and it is the right one for grade eight. What fields are required, what counts as a source, how consent is recorded, how uncertainty is expressed, how entries are reviewed.

The page has the protocol template, examples of good and poor standards, and a testing requirement where another student documents a plant using their protocol. The gaps that test reveals are the assessment, and every first draft has them.
