Water Sharing Culture and Climate Seminar

The subak system has managed shared water in Bali for around a thousand years. Rainfall patterns are shifting. What happens to an institution built for one climate when the climate changes.

That is a serious question with no settled answer and it is being lived out where the students are.

The page has the background brief, seminar positions, preparation guidance and a reflection. It also asks what makes an institution adaptable, which is a question that reaches well past water and is worth fourteen year olds thinking about.
