Quality changes as water passes through a system and the direction of change tells you what the system is doing. Sediment settling out is visible. Warming is measurable. Both have consequences downstream.

The page has the sampling protocol, the tests, a recording schedule and an analysis frame. Consistency of sampling point and time matters more than the number of tests, and the sheet says so, because a data set with drifting method produces conclusions that are not real.
