Wellness Claim Comparison Board
by Eric Gonzalez-Payne

Real product packaging, real claims, checked.
Students bring in labels and the class works through what each claim actually asserts, which is often less than it appears. Supports immune function is not the same as prevents illness, and noticing that difference is a media literacy skill that transfers well beyond plants.
The page has the claim analysis frame, a wording guide covering hedged language, and a comparison board. It also has a note on regulation, which varies enormously by country and which explains why the same product carries different claims in different markets.
