Persuasive Letter to Protect Habitat

A real letter, to a real recipient, about a real place, with real evidence.

Formal register is the skill and it is genuinely difficult at twelve. The tone that works is calm, specific and easy to say yes to, and the first drafts are none of those things.

The page has the letter structure, a register guide with examples of what to avoid, an evidence requirement drawing on their own surveys, and a specific ask. The specific ask is what most drafts lack. Protect our environment is not an ask. Leave this six metre strip unmown until October is.
