Pollinator Corridor Design Challenge

Two patches with pollinators, a gap between them, and a brief to connect them.

Corridor design is real conservation practice at a scale a school site can host. The constraints are genuine, since the connecting route has to survive being walked on, mown near, and ignored by whoever manages the grounds.

The page has the site analysis, a planting palette of species that flower at different times, the design grid, and a maintenance plan. The staggered flowering requirement is the sophisticated part. A corridor that blooms all at once and then stops is a corridor for three weeks a year.
