Sustainable Garden Design Blueprint
by Eric Gonzalez-Payne

Scale drawing, real measurements, real constraints. Where the sun falls, where the water comes from, how a person gets in to work it.
The access constraint is the one children forget. A beautiful bed you cannot reach the middle of is a bed nobody weeds, and the fix, keeping every point within arm's reach of an edge, is a genuine design principle they discover by being told about it once and never forgetting.
The page has grid paper, a scale note, a constraints checklist and a review stage. Beds designed on this sheet have been built. That possibility should be mentioned before they start.
