Durian Tree Habitat Web

One tree, and a list of everything that uses it. Ants, birds, bats, squirrels, fungi, people.

A mature durian or mango supports a startling amount and children who spend a session under one find more than they expect. Bats are the interesting entry, since durian is bat pollinated and almost nobody knows that.

The page has the observation frame, a species list, and a web diagram to complete. It also has the question of what would be lost if the tree came down, which connects to real decisions being made on real sites, occasionally including their own.
