Rice Water Path Notebook

Where the water is, where it goes, how fast, and what changed. Kept over weeks rather than captured in a lesson.

The notebook format is deliberately loose because the observations are not predictable. Some weeks nothing happens. Some weeks a channel blocks and the whole system changes.

The page provides the notebook structure, prompts for what to record, and a summary frame for the end. It also carries the instruction to record the weather every single time, which children skip and which turns out to explain most of what they later cannot account for.
