Community Plant Match and Reason
by Eric Gonzalez-Payne

The matching is revision. The reasoning column is the new work.
Why is this plant used for that. Sometimes the answer is a real property, an oil, a texture, a chemical. Sometimes it is availability, and sometimes it is tradition with no clear mechanism. All three are honest answers and the sheet accepts all three.
That distinction, between a use with a known reason and a use without one, is a genuinely sophisticated idea and grade four can hold it.
The page has the pairs, the reasoning frame, and a category for do not know, which children should be encouraged to use.
