Ecosystem Connections Web

Every child holds a card naming something on site. String goes between anything connected. Within ten minutes the room is a web nobody can move in.

Then you cut one strand and ask who felt it. That is the lesson and it does not work as a diagram.

We cut the decomposer strand, because children never predict how much depends on it.

The page has the card set, the string method, and a recording frame so the web survives after the string comes down. It also has the follow up question, which is what would take the longest to recover. That one has no clean answer and grade four can argue it properly.
