
The plant use content, played as a fast card game in pairs.
Speed changes it. Knowledge that a child has but has to hunt for is not the same as knowledge they have to hand, and the timer forces the second kind. Three rounds of ninety seconds does more for recall than a page of matching.
We use it as revision before the interview sheet, so the children have vocabulary ready when they go and talk to an adult.
The page has the cards, the rules, and a scoring strip. Also blank cards. By the third time we ran this the class deck was half theirs, and the cards they wrote were harder than ours.
