Draw a Line Plant Helpers

Draw a line from the plant to the problem. Six pairs.

This is the grade one version of the medicinal thread and the step up from preschool is that the problems are written rather than drawn, so it is reading as well as knowing.

All six uses are traditional across Southeast Asia and we checked each one rather than assuming. The sheet says clearly, in adult language, that these are cultural uses and not medical instructions.

The page has the six pairs, the matching frame, and an extension asking the child to add a seventh from home. That extension is the good bit. Children come back with things their grandmother uses, and those contributions are often plants we did not know about.
